Prior to that, Ryan served as the Digital News Director at In Touch, Life & Style and Closer. He started his career as an intern at the website/television show TMZ in 2009, which led to his hiring as a producer for the outlet. Throughout his career, he has served as the VP of News for Empire Media Group, editor-in-chief of Radar Online, and was a cofounder of the entertainment news website The Blast. Ryan was born and raised in Southern California. He graduated from California State University, Fullerton, in 2012. He currently resides in Los Angeles, where he raises his 4-year-old Miniature Schnauzer named Piper.
