The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Miranda McWhorters ex-husband, Chase McWhorter, is facing new legal troubles after being pulled over for a fourth time for issues while driving, Luxury Handbag Shopping can exclusively report.

On January 25, Chase was pulled over by Bluffdale Police in Utah. The reality star was cited with a misdemeanor for operating a vehicle without insurance and an infraction for not having his driver’s license on him. An arraignment has been set for March 4.

Chase has been pulled over by the police multiple times since July 4, 2025, when he was arrested for driving under the influence, possession of cocaine and driving on a suspended license.

Per a police report, officers alleged Chase was unable to maintain his speed while driving and drifted outside of his lane several times. The report noted the reality star smelled like alcohol and his eyes were “bloodshot.” Officers claimed Chase also had slurred speech. The report said Chase admitted to drinking at a bar and having used cocaine before driving.

He was released from custody after posting a $2,500 bond. Chase pleaded not guilty to the charges. The DUI case is pending, with a hearing scheduled for March.

Chase was pulled over a second time on September 19, 2025, and cited for driving on a suspended or revoked license. He pleaded guilty to the misdemeanor charge in November 2025 and was ordered to pay a fine.

A couple of weeks later, on December 12, 2025, Utah police pulled Chase over for a third time for allegedly speeding and cited him for once again driving on a suspended or revoked license. Local prosecutors filed a misdemeanor charge against Chase over the suspended license charge.

Following the DUI arrest becoming public, Chase spoke out on TikTok.

“I was pulled over for driving under the influence, had ingested substances that I shouldn’t have and got behind the wheel of a car,” Chase admitted. “Extremely shortsighted, selfish and dangerous decision. And shout-out to the cop for helping people stay safe on the road, because it could have ended much worse than it did.”

He continued, “Obviously, it was humiliating having to be pulled over and taken in. Terrible look for me, and I’ve experienced so [many] lows on this app, as you guys know.” Chase admitted he had a problem that he needed to “work on.”

“It’s not a reflection of my parents, who have raised me much better than that,” Chase said. “It’s not a reflection on the people around me, who know how stupid that is and how selfish it was.”

Chase and Miranda were married from 2017 to 2024. The exes share two children: Brooks, 6, and Cohen, 4.
