Mama June: Family Crisis

Mama June: Family Crisis is a reality TV series on We TV that delves into the challenges and milestones of June “Mama June” Shannon and her family. The show is a spinoff from original series Here Comes Honey Boo Boo and Mama June: From Not to Hot.

The series follows storylines including Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson’s transition into adulthood, her college aspirations, and financial revelations. June navigates her relationship with her daughters while adjusting to married life with Justin Stroud. Lauryn “Pumpkin” Efird continues managing her household, which includes caring for her children and her sister, Alana, under challenging circumstances.

Family Crisis also documented the late Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell’s battle with stage 4 adrenal carcinoma. She died at age 29 in December 2023.

The show premiered on We TV in March 2020, and season 6 aired in February 2024.
