Honey Boo Boo

Honey Boo Boo (born Alana Thompson) is a reality TV personality best known for her appearances on Toddlers & Tiaras and her spinoff series Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. Thompson was raised by her mother, June “Mama June” Shannon, in McIntyre, Georgia. She grew up in a blended family with several siblings and began competing in beauty pageants at a young age. In 2023, she graduated from high school and later began attending Regis University to study nursing.

Thompson rose to fame in 2012 after appearing on TLC’s Toddlers & Tiaras, where her personality and catchphrases made her a viral sensation. That same year, TLC launched Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, which ran for four seasons before being canceled in 2014. Following her mother’s arrest in 2019, her sister Lauryn Efird was granted legal guardianship of her until she turned 18.

The reality TV star later appeared on the 2017 Honey Boo Boo spinoff Mama June: From Not to Hot, and she has also appeared on shows like Dancing With the Stars: Juniors and The Masked Singer.

Thompson began dating Dralin Carswell in 2021.
