Unexpected stars Isabella Leal-Stone and Bryce Palmer are engaged less than one year after welcoming their first baby.
Isabella, 19, announced the happy news via TikTok, sharing a video of herself inside a car mouthing the words to Jason Aldean’s song, “Tonight Looks Good on You.”
“Engaged!!❤️,” she captioned the clip, which was dated February 7. Isabella showed off her new diamond engagement ring in the video as well and heart-shaped balloons are visible behind her seat.
Bryce, 19, confirmed their latest milestone as well via his Facebook profile. His relationship status now reads, “Engaged since February 7, 2026.”
The couple’s engagement comes less than one year after they welcomed daughter Haisley Natasha Skye in May 2025 when they were both just 18 years old.
Bryce’s proposal came one week before his and Isabella’s relationship and road to becoming parents began to play out on season 7 of TLC’s Unexpected, which premiered on February 16.
In the trailer for the current season, fans got a glimpse at Isabella and Bryce’s rocky dynamic as their parents butted heads on how to handle their teen pregnancy.

On the show, Isabella’s mom told her that she was being “weak” for not pushing Bryce into taking anger management classes before their baby was born.
“I feel like Bryce is this way because there’s nobody telling him that what he’s doing is wrong,” Isabella’s mom, Tasha, claimed in the preview.
Bryce’s mom and grandparents don’t take kindly to Tasha trying to influence their son through her daughter. His grandmother goes as far as to accuse Isabella and her mother of “evil” behavior.
“I think her mom is sticking her nose in and telling Isabella what to do … Isabella and her mother treat us like crap,” Bryce’s grandfather alleged in the trailer, after Isabella told Bryce that her mom thought he should get a job.
Isabella insisted that her mom just wanted him to “make an effort,” and Bryce’s grandfather said, “That’s not right.”
As their families argue, tensions rise between Isabella and Bryce and they get into a screaming match. Bryce eventually pulls off his microphone and refuses to continue filming.
Prior to the season premiere, Isabella clapped back at trolls who took issue with her hiding her daughter’s face on social media.
“I just wanted to address some comments because y’all are rude. Y’all act like we aren’t humans,” she said in a January TikTok video. “We aren’t the first people to be teen parents and we definitely won’t be the last.”
Isabella explained that she planned to keep Haisley off of social media before they were cast on the reality show.
“No matter what we do, we’re not going to please y’all, so maybe keep your comments to yourself,” she quipped, adding that it’s a “scary world that we live in,” so she wants to “protect” Haisley from strangers.
Unexpected airs on TLC Mondays at 9 p.m. ET.
