Netflix had plenty to celebrate last week. Squid Game season 3 continued to be a streaming juggernaut, racking up 43.6 million views last week.

Viewers couldn’t get enough of the show as Squid Game seasons 1 and 2 re-entered the most popular show list after a long absence.

Aside from that show, other new additions this week include The Sandman season 2, which wraps up the Neil Gaiman fantasy series, and the documentary series Attack on London: Hunting the 7/7 Bombers.

Is it any surprise that Squid Game, one of Netflix’s most popular shows, is the most popular show this week — and probably the summer? The thriller returns for a third and final season and picks up right where season 2 left off, with Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae) trying and failing to lead an uprising among players against the Squid Game’s makers.

Gi-hun is still reeling from being betrayed by the Front Man (Lee Byung-hun), who resumes his role as one of the show’s primary baddies. Viewers apparently can’t get enough, as this season has already shattered viewership records for a non-English language Netflix show.

Dawson’s Creek fans, rejoice! No, the beloved teen show isn’t getting a reboot, but The Waterfront, Kevin Williamson’s new drama, is the next best thing (even if it’s nothing like it).

The eight-episode series focuses on the Buckley family, a once-prosperous clan who have to partner with resident lowlife Grady (Topher Grace) to save their family’s fishing business. Son and heir Cane (Jake Weary) doesn’t like being a drug smuggler, but how else can his family survive?

Monday nights have been typically reserved for football, but that’s changed recently with WWE Raw on Netflix. The wrestling show has proved to be massively popular on Netflix since its debut this past January, regularly topping the streamer’s most-watched shows charts when a new episode is streamed live.

Some past shows have included such stars as The Rock and current champion Cody Rhodes. Recently, John Cena played his final wrestling match in the show’s WrestleMania event.

It wouldn’t be a Netflix most popular list without a children’s program near the top. The current sensation for the kindergarten set is Ms. Rachel, a four-episode show that compiles the best of the eponymous YouTube series.

In a series of short instructional videos, Ms. Rachel teaches her young audience basic concepts such as shapes, colors, numbers and letters. Since its debut in January, Ms. Rachel has been one of Netflix’s most popular shows in 2025 and continues to entertain and educate its target audience.

Are you ready to get your goth on again? The Sandman is back for a second and final season. Dream (Tom Sturridge) still has to deal with pesky family problems involving siblings Death (Kirby Howell-Baptiste), Desire (Mason Alexander Park), Destiny (Adrian Lester) and Despair (Donna Preston).

Dream also faces some romantic troubles as well when his long-lost love, Nada (Deborah Oyelade), reappears even though he banished her to Hell centuries ago. I hate it when that happens!

It’s no surprise that Ginny & Georgia season 3 is already the most popular show on Netflix right now. The entire series is one of Netflix’s most-watched shows ever, and the current season promises to join the previous two in shattering viewership records.

Season 3 focuses on Georgia’s (Howey) murder trial and Ginny’s (Gentry) ongoing teenage turmoil. Will Georgia be acquitted of mercy killing Cynthia’s husband (Vincent Legault)? Will Ginny ever find a guy who doesn’t disappoint her? And how the heck did Austin (La Torraca) grow up so fast anyway?

Squid Game is back, and it’s more deadly than ever. Having survived the first tournament, Seong Gi-hun  (Lee Jung-jae) is hellbent on exposing those who run the competition and stopping it for good.

He teams up with Detective Jun-ho (Wi Ha-joon) to gather enough evidence to take the Squid Game down for good. Will they succeed in pulling off the impossible?

Based on the critically acclaimed 2010 Australian movie of the same name, Animal Kingdom is a six-season TNT series that’s now available in its entirety on Netflix. Set in Oceanside, California, the show follows newly orphaned Joshua (Finn Cole), who is sent to live with his grandmother and uncles after the death of his mother.

His extended family takes care of him, but there’s just one catch — they are all criminals and want Joshua to learn the family business.

Go back to where it all began with Squid Game season 1. When Seong Gi-hun’s (Lee Jung-jae) reckless life of gambling catches up with him, he has no choice but to enter the Squid Game, a deadly competition where 456 financially desperate individuals play a series of games to win the cash grand prize.

The winner takes all while the losers end up six feet under. Can Gi-hun stay alive long enough to beat the game?
