A South Carolina boutique owner accused of scamming dozens of customers has been arrested again — for the 13th time in about 2 months, according to authorities and media reports.

Pamela Brooke Schronce’s latest arrest happened in Newberry County, where she was charged with six counts of obtaining goods under false pretenses with a value of $2,000 or less, the Newberry County Sheriff’s Office said in a Monday, March 2, news release.

The development marks Schronce’s 13th arrest since the beginning of the year and follows her 12th arrest in Pickens County on Wednesday, February 25, according to WHNS.

Schronce, 30, of Anderson County, is the owner of Thomas & Turner Boutique in Belton, Luxury Handbag Shopping previously reported.

She is “the subject of numerous cases originating out of Anderson County and spanning several jurisdictions,” the Newberry County Sheriff’s Office said.

In a February 9 Facebook post, the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office announced Schronce is accused of scamming more than 50 people who live in that county. There, she was arrested on a felony charge of breach/obtaining property under false pretenses in connection with nearly $10,500.

“According to investigators, Schronce scammed at least 54 victims who placed online orders but never received their merchandise,” the sheriff’s office wrote in the Facebook post. “Detectives say she repeatedly provided fabricated excuses to explain the missing deliveries.”

Court records for a few of Schronce’s criminal cases list her defense attorney as Joy C. Davis.

In an emailed statement to Us on Tuesday, March 3, Davis said “This case is still in the very early stages.”

“I can tell you that Ms. Schronce is really looking forward to her day in court,” Davis added.

Schronce’s boutique is no longer accepting online orders as of March 3, according to a message displayed on her business’ website.

Her store, which is marketed as a “boutique for trendy little babies,” offers “custom designed pieces” that are “affordable & adorable,” according to her boutique’s Instagram page.

One of Schronce’s customers reported to law enforcement in December 2025 that they ordered $360 worth of items from Schronce’s business but never received the products they paid for, Cherokee County Sheriff Steve Mueller previously confirmed to Us via email.

“The victim just like all the others tried repeatedly to get an answer from [the] suspect but eventually was blocked and they would not respond,” Mueller said.

The customer’s report led to Schronce’s 11th arrest in Cherokee County on February 23, according to Mueller.

“Investigators were able to secure an arrest warrant on February 17, 2026, and we waited in line with all the other agencies to get her booked in at the Cherokee County Detention Center,” Mueller said.

A few days before Schronce’s latest arrest, the Facebook page for her business advertised a custom clothing item on February, Friday 27.

The post shows a gray sweatshirt meant for a labor and delivery nurse.

“One of our favorite custom pieces we’ve ever created,” the post reads.

After Schronce’s most recent arrest in Newberry County, she was issued a $3,000 bond, according to the county sheriff’s office.
