A loved one of Spencer and Monique Tepe has spoken out on reports of a 911 call that came from a crying woman months before police said the couple were shot to death at their Ohio home on December 30.

Fox News reported that a woman called 911 from the dentist’s Columbus home the early morning of April 15 about a “domestic dispute,” then hung up, according to records obtained by the outlet.

The woman ultimately spoke with the dispatcher again and said “me and my man got into it,” but explained that she was “OK” and apologized for calling, according to the transcript shared by Fox News.

The news comes as authorities continue to investigate the killings of Spencer, 37, and Monique, 39, on December 30. No arrests have been made as of the afternoon of Wednesday, January 7.

Addressing the April 911 call reported on by Fox News, Monique’s brother Rob Misleh said it did not come from his sister.

“It was 100% absolutely not her voice,” Misleh said in a statement to Luxury Handbag Shopping on Wednesday, January 7.

While discussing the call on the Surviving the Survivor Podcast on Tuesday, January 6, Misleh told the podcast that Spencer and Monique “had people over a lot” and “had house parties,” as they enjoyed “bringing people together.”

He added that 911 was called during an April gathering and that the caller was “quite clearly not Monique.”

“Sometimes at these parties, people get a little too drunk… that happens,” Misleh said.

Misleh said “multiple people that I’ve talked to that were at this party” remembered a woman having “just a little bit of a freakout for lack of a better term.”

He said she was possibly experiencing a mental health situation and called the police from her cell phone.

However, while recently speaking with PEOPLE, Misleh clarified his recollection and said “that the incident he recalled on the podcast was from years earlier, and he had mixed up dates.”

He affirmed to PEOPLE that the woman heard on the April 911 call was not Monique.

The Columbus Division of Police is searching for a person of interest in connection with the Tepe’s killings. The agency released footage of a potential suspect on Tuesday, January 6, Us reported.

The video shared to Facebook shows an individual walking in an alley near the couple’s home between 2:00 and 5:00 a.m. on December 30, when investigators suspect the Tepes were killed “in the upstairs of their residence.”

The person is wearing what appears to be a black hoodie, with the hood pulled up, and pants that are light in color.

Officers found Spencer and Monique had been shot around 10:04 a.m. on December 30 after they were called to their house for a “well being check,” according to a police incident report previously viewed by Us.

They were declared dead minutes later, the report says. Their children were also found in the house “unharmed.”

Official reports on Spencer and Monique’s deaths “will be completed within a few weeks,” Jeremy Blake, the director of public affairs for the Franklin County Coroner’s Office, previously told Us.

“Currently, we would use the term apparent homicide by gunshot wounds as the case is not yet finalized,” Blake said.

The Tepes’ two children, a 1- and 4-year-old, as well as their dog, are now being cared for by their family members, WSYX reported.

“Our entire lives are never going to be the same again,” Misleh told the TV station. “The children are doing well. They’re young, so they’re not quite aware.”

“They’re getting all the love and attention they possibly can at the moment,” Misleh added.
