Kyle Cooke has not held back after learning his estranged wife, Amanda Batula, is dating their Summer House castmate West Wilson — and he claims the fallout has been severe for everyone involved.
Cooke broke his silence in a TikTok interview with street journalist Adam Glyn on April 1, 2026, saying that he’s worried about his ex amid the rising fan backlash.
“I’m good. I appreciate people checking in. I’m actually really worried about Amanda, if I’m being honest,” Cooke said, revealing that Batula gave him “a heads-up” before she and Wilson confirmed their relationship. “I talked to her last night, and I understand people have all sorts of opinions, and I’m not justifying any behavior, but, like, from what I’m seeing, she’s getting cyberbullied.”
Batula, who announced her separation from Cooke in January 2026, revealed two months later that she is dating Wilson.
“Our connection grew out of a genuine, longstanding friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care,” they wrote in a joint statement, addressing swirling online speculation.
A source later told Luxury Handbag Shopping exclusively that Cooke “was genuinely blindsided by the news and completely caught off guard,” adding that he “always knew Amanda would eventually move on, but he never imagined it would be with a castmate or anyone within their own circle.”

Kyle Cooke took to X in April 2026 to address fan harassment directly, writing, “Death threats are not warranted, no matter the severity of a bad decision.”
He also noted a disparity in how the public is treating the new couple, noting it blew his mind to see Wilson gaining social media followers while Batula allegedly got cyberbullied.
“I just feel bad,” Cooke later told Adam Glyn in a street interview. “Amanda knows that what she did was wrong, and she’s trying to come to terms with it, but she is not [doing] well.”

Before dating Amanda Batula, West Wilson was previously romantically linked to her close friend and Summer House costar Ciara Miller in 2023. During an April 2026 interview, Kyle Cooke confirmed he had been in touch with Miller amid the news.
“I think she had more evidence at her disposal than I did,” Cooke said of Miller. “She was trying to, like, let me come to terms at my own speed. It’s just a lot to process.”

According to Cooke, he also started to second-guess moments from summer 2025, including how “touchy” Wilson was with Batula, when they all filmed Summer House season 10.

Kyle Cooke also raised questions about whether the show can continue as normal in light of Amanda Batula, West Wilson and Ciara Miller’s love triangle.
“It really does put into jeopardy what the show’s about because you can’t shoot Summer House if the vibes are off. We’re not actors,” he told reporter Adam Glyn in April 2026. “It’s not just me, Amanda, West, Ciara. It’s, like, our whole friend group. I mean, Carl [Radke] is a mess.”
Regardless of the drama, Cooke believes Summer House “still has legs” because there is “an amazing group of friends” who are “super dynamic in different stages in life.”
