Kyle Cooke has broken his silence on Amanda Batula and West Wilson’s romance.
“I’m good. I appreciate people checking in. I’m actually really worried about Amanda, if I’m being honest,” Cooke, 43, told street journalist Adam Glyn in a TikTok video uploaded on Wednesday, April 1. Cooke revealed that he has spoken to Batula, 34, who gave him “a heads-up” about the pair’s statement.
“I talked to her last night, and I understand people have all sorts of opinions, and I’m not justifying any behavior, but, like, from what I’m seeing, she’s getting cyberbullied,” he added.
Cooke alluded to rumors that Wilson has been “playing multiple women at the same time,” calling out fans who are “lighting up” Batula over the situation.
“I just feel bad. Amanda knows that what she did was wrong, and she’s trying to come to terms with it, but she is not [doing] well,” Cooke added, noting that was giving everyone “the benefit of the doubt” initially.
Cooke revealed he found out about his ex’s new relationship over the weekend and doesn’t “understand the timeline just yet.” He also admitted to second-guessing certain things that took place during summer 2025, including how “touchy” Wilson was with Batula.
“It’s a mental mind-f*** for me,” he continued, sharing that Wilson sent him “some half-assed text message” after the news broke.

Cooke and Batula announced earlier this year that they decided to separate after four years of marriage.
“After much reflection, we have mutually and amicably decided to part ways as a couple,” the pair said in a joint statement. “We share this with a heavy heart and kindly ask for your grace and support while we focus on our personal growth and healing.”
Shortly after revealing their breakup, rumors swirled that Batula was linked to fellow Summer House costars Wilson, 31, and Jesse Solomon, which she initially shut down.

“It’s not going to happen. I’m not touching any of my cast members,” Batula said during a March episode of Jason Tartick’s “Trading Secrets” podcast. “Love them dearly, but I’m good.”
Cooke, for his part, also reacted to the rumors calling them “outrageous.”
“I don’t think there’s any merit to it,” Kyle said during a March appearance on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live, noting that it would “catch me by surprise” if it was true.
Cooke added that if Batula and West were dating, he would be alright, but costar Ciara Miller might have different feelings. (Wilson and Miller have had an on-and-off connection since 2023.)
“I’d probably be the last person people would be worried about. I think Ciara would probably have something to say,” he shared. “If it made Amanda happy, I think I would have to vote yay.”
Batula and Wilson confirmed in a joint statement on Tuesday, March 31, that they’re dating.
“It was never our intention to purposely hide anything,” read a statement from the duo shared via Instagram on Tuesday, March 31. “Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it.”
The couple explained how their relationship dynamic ultimately changed.
“We’ve shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what’s developed recently was the last thing either of us expected,” they continued. “Our connection grew out of a genuine, longstanding friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care.”
The statement concluded, “As our feelings evolved, we wanted to take time to understand exactly what we were feeling. We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless. We truly appreciate the understanding and respect as we navigate this.”
Rumors swirled that Miller and Batula were feuding amid her new romance with Wilson. After Wilson and Batula went public with their relationship, fans noticed Miller was no longer following Wilson and Batula on social media.
