The late Shannen Doherty’s estate reached an agreement with her ex-husband Kurt Iswarienko over ownership of the former couple’s Texas mansion, Luxury Handbag Shopping can confirm.
In recently filed court documents submitted on Tuesday, March 24, and obtained by Luxury Handbag Shopping, Doherty’s estate and Iswarienko, 51, “agreed to resolve their differences” regarding the pending litigation.
Doherty and Iswarienko had separated nearly one year before she died in 2024. In the months following the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum’s death, her estate battled Iswarienko over rightful ownership of their property in the Lone Star State. While the photographer fought for the house, Doherty’s estate claimed that he actually didn’t comply with the terms of their divorce settlement and failed to inform the trust that he listed the house for sale. Doherty’s attorneys also claimed that Iswarienko owed the estate money.
According to the docs, Iswarienko will be awarded the Texas property on the condition that he “timely equalizes [Doherty’s] estate for one-half the equity” and provides a complete “inventory of his photographic works.” If Iswarienko fails to repay Doherty’s trust, then both parties will be required to sell the house.
The trustees of Doherty’s estate are also ordered to “cooperate to execute” documents regarding the title and deed, as well as return certain items that belong to Iswarienko.
“[Doherty’s] estate through counsel shall arrange for the expeditious return of [Iswarienko’s] guitars, equipment and restored Garard stereo record player awarded to [him] under the judgement,” the court documents read, referring to Iswarienko and Doherty’s divorce settlement. “Counsel shall meet and confer to arrange for the return of the items. The court shall retain jurisdiction over such return of property.”
Per the terms of the settlement, Iswarienko will also withdraw his court filing and the upcoming Friday, April 3, hearing will be removed from the court docket.

Doherty, who died July 13, 2024, at age 53 after a lengthy battle with cancer, filed to move forward with her divorce from Iswarienko one day before her death.
“This matter is proceeding as an uncontested action,” court docs obtained by Us read, in which Doherty also waived rights to alimony payments, adding, “I knowingly give up forever any right to receive spousal or partner support.”
Doherty and Isawarienko were married from 2011 to 2023.
“Divorce is the last thing Shannen wanted,” Doherty’s longtime rep, Lesley Sloane, said in a statement at the time. “Unfortunately, she felt she was left with no other option.”
Sloane further claimed that Iswarienko’s agent was “intimately involved” in the breakup. (Iswarienko and his team have not publicly addressed the accusations.)
“I do not take responsibility for the demise of our marriage, I take responsibility for some of the issues in our marriage,” Doherty said on a December 2023 episode of her “Let’s Be Clear” podcast. “I take responsibility not only because of how I was but because of how cancer impacted my marriage and how it impacted him the second time around.”
Doherty was previously married to Ashley Hamilton from 1993 to 1994 and Rick Saloman from 2002 to 2003.
