Seann William Scott’s mom will be testifying in court for her son as the actor fights his ex-wife, Olivia Korenberg, over custody of their daughter, Luxury Handbag Shopping can exclusively report.
On June 6, the American Pie actor, 48, filed an amended witness list ahead of the upcoming hearing in his divorce.
Scott and Korenberg started dating in late 2019. He filed for divorce in February 2024. The exes share a 4-year-old daughter.
The actor revealed he will take the stand for an hour and 30 minutes, and his ex will also testify about their child and custody.
Scott said his mother, Patricia Scott, will also testify as to her “personal observations of and interactions with the parties and the minor child.”

In addition, the actor said he will call Korenberg’s brother-in-law and father of their daughter’s first cousin.
As Us previously reported, Korenberg accused Scott of blindsiding her with an eviction notice.
She said he had been allowing her and their daughter to live in one of his homes in Malibu.
Korenberg admitted Scott agreed to allow her to live in the home for one-year as part of their divorce deal.
The exes also agreed to share joint legal and physical custody of their daughter.
The deal also said neither party could relocate to a home more than 20 miles from the other.
Despite the deal stating one year, Korenberg claimed Scott made it seem like she could live in the home long-term and allowed her to make renovations to the property.
“Seann repeatedly encouraged me to spend the money, expressing that we would be there for a long time,” Korenberg wrote in a declaration filed in court.
Korenberg claimed things took a turn when she asked Scott if he wanted to meet her new boyfriend.
Weeks later, Korenberg said Scott told her she needed to vacate the home by June.
In her motion, Korenberg claimed she wanted to move further than 20 miles away due to her being unable to afford homes in Malibu.
Scott fired back at the allegations in court. He claimed the deal allowing Korenberg to stay in his home was only temporary.
He denied that he blindsided Korenberg with an “eviction.”
He claimed he purchased the home as an “investment,” but never meant for it to be a permanent home for Korenberg.
He told the court he was very clear about this before Korenberg moved into the property.
Scott told the court he decided to list the home after speaking to his financial advisors in December 2024.
He said he did not make the decision as retaliation after finding out about Korenberg’s new partner.

Scott wrote, “I have always been supportive of Olivia’s new relationship and have encouraged a thoughtful introduction of this relationship” to their daughter.
The actor also scoffed at Korenberg’s claims that she spent a ton of money on renovations for the home.
“I am responsible for capital improvements and major repairs. I not only purchased the home, but also paid over $110,000 in improvements and repairs,” Scott said in his declaration.
He added, “On the other hand, Olivia is responsible for cosmetic improvements, routine maintenance, and furnishings. I was mindful of such expenses and tried to help Olivia furnish and decorate the home affordably.”
The actor said he was a “deeply committed father” and was active in all aspects of her life.
Scott said he worked out a schedule on his new sitcom Shifting Gears to make sure he was there for his daughter.
“I then negotiated a revised production schedule that would allow me to start no earlier than 9:00 a.m. and finish [early afternoon] so that I could pick [my daughter] up from school, which the production and studio ultimately agreed to,” he told the judge.
In regard to Korenberg’s request to move 20 miles away, Scott said he did not agree with this.
“I do not question the fact that [our daughter] has a good relationship with Olivia. However, I wonder whether Olivia is genuinely interested in continuing to foster my relationship with [our daughter],” he wrote in his declaration.
Scott asked the court to award him sole legal custody to allow him to file the proper paperwork to enroll their child in school.
The exes are set to face off in court later this month.
