The Real Housewives of Orange County alum Meghan King and her ex-husband Jim Edmonds reached a custody deal months after she temporarily lost custody of her three kids, Luxury Handbag Shopping can report.
Jim’s rep, Steve Honig, tells Us, “The custody hearing has been called off, and both sides have reached an agreement that is in the best interests of the children.”
As Us first reported, King recently lost custody of the children after Child Protective Services was called. (King and Jim were married from 2014 until 2019. They settled the divorce in May 2021 and initially agreed to share joint custody.)
Multiple sources told Us that the custody decision happened in the last couple of months. Us is told King, 41, was awarded supervised visitation while Edmonds, 55, has sole physical custody.
Sources told Us that the decision came after a school official called Child Protective Services. Jim’s team declined to comment. Us reached out to King for comment.
On November 19, RHOC alum Kelly Dodd spoke out in defense of King. She said her former costar was an “excellent mother.”
Dodd added, “And I just pray that she gets her babies back. Everyone, just pray for Meghan and her family. Those boys and that daughter need their mom. They need their mother, and it’s terrible what is going on right now.”

King losing custody comes months after Jim’s wife, Kortnie Edmonds, called the police on her after an incident at Jim and Kortnie’s home.
Per a police report, King drove over to the home to drop off a dress for her daughter. She said she informed Jim beforehand. Kortnie answered the door when King showed up.
A source close to King claimed Kortnie demanded she drop off the dress and leave. King said she wanted to talk to her daughter. Kortnie told King her daughter was out with Jim and shut the door.

Kortnie claimed that she started to walk to her office when she heard King shouting for her daughter inside her home.
“As Kortnie walked back towards her office, she heard Meghan inside the home yelling for [her daughter],” the report read. “Kortnie walked back to the front door and observed Meghan standing inside the house approximately 5 feet from the doorway.”
Kortnie told the police she told King to get out of the home, “but [King] wedged her foot in the door briefly,” so she could not shut the door completely. “After Meghan moved her foot, Kortnie closed the door,” the report said to summarize Kortnie’s side of things.
Kortnie initially said she wanted to press charges but later changed her mind. The case was presented to the District Attorney, who declined to bring charges.
Following the incident, Kortnie filed for a restraining order against King. The case was resolved before any order was entered. The two agreed not to come near each other at events for the kids and that King is prohibited from talking about Kortnie on social media.
