Neighbors With Benefits alum Tony McCollister has been formally indicted on 30 criminal counts in Ohio, where a judge has forbidden him from having any contact with children or animals, according to court documents obtained by Luxury Handbag Shopping.
McCollister, 43, had his bond set at $250,000 bond, and Us received conflicting information from officials as to whether he posted that amount for his release.
He was indicted on February 2 on four counts of felony rape; five counts of felony gross sexual imposition; three felony counts of endangering children; one count of corrupting another with drugs; 13 felony counts of pandering sexually oriented matter involving minor or impaired person; and four misdemeanor counts of sexual conduct with an animal.
The rape charges allegedly stem from incidents that took place between August 9, 2024, and May 1, 2025, when the former reality star engaged in sexual contact with a minor who was under the age of 10.
Meanwhile, the charges of gross sexual imposition are connected to incidents that allegedly took place between August 1, 2024, and December 23, 2025, in which he is accused of sexually abusing a minor under 13 years old.
McCollister has entered not guilty pleas. Attempts to reach his court-appointed lawyers were unsuccessful Friday, February 13.
According to documents filed on February 6, McCollister’s attorneys are seeking to limit pre-trial statements made by prosecutors. “The news releases and public statement issued by the prosecuting attorney fails to acknowledge that the charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty,” reads a filing from McCollister’s lawyers.
The state has countered such restrictions are unnecessary due to already existing ethical rules.
McCollister was initially charged with pandering obscene content involving a minor and sexual conduct with an animal. According to court documents obtained by the outlet, McCollister allegedly uploaded child sexual abuse material to a Google account and engaged in sexual activities with two dogs.
Warren County Sheriff Barry Riley told TMZ on December 27 that McCollister’s pets were confiscated during a police investigation and “are being well cared for.”
McCollister was indicted with a co-defendant, 43-year-old Erica Grove. She has been charged with 24 criminal counts: four felony counts of rape; five felony counts of gross sexual imposition; eight felony counts of Illegal use of minor or impaired person in nudity-oriented material; one felony count of corrupting another with drugs; two felony counts of endangering children; and four misdemeanor counts of sexual conduct with an animal.
She, too, has been barred from having any contact with kids and animals.
Grove posted a $250,000 bond for her release. Us was unable to reach her by phone for comment on Friday, February 13.
Should McCollister post bond, he will have to wear a GPS monitor and follow a court-imposed curfew, requiring he be home from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Tony and his then-wife, Diana McCollister, previously starred on A&E’s Neighbors With Benefits. The docuseries followed their lifestyle as swingers and was canceled in 2015 after two episodes due to viewer backlash.
