The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Miranda McWhorters ex-husband, Chase McWhorter, was pulled over by Utah police for a third time in a matter of weeks, Luxury Handbag Shopping can exclusively report.

Per court records, on December 12, Chase, 30, was cited by police for speeding and driving on a suspended or revoked license. Prosecutors filed a misdemeanor charge over the driving on a suspended license charge. A hearing has been set for January 26, 2026.

As Us previously reported, Chase’s legal drama started on July 4 when he was arrested for driving under the influence, possession of cocaine and driving on a suspended license.

Chase was released from jail after posting a $2,500 bond. (He pleaded not guilty to all charges. A hearing has been set for January 13, 2026, for the case.)

Then, on September 19, Chase was pulled over again by cops and cited for driving on a suspended or revoked license. He pleaded guilty to the misdemeanor charge on November 26.

Chase was ordered to pay fines of $335 and the case was closed. The reality star’s two other criminal cases over the DUI and the new charge for driving on a suspended license are still pending.

On December 4, Chase addressed the arrest for DUI and possession of cocaine on TikTok. He said, “I was pulled over for driving under the influence, had ingested substances that I shouldn’t have, and got behind the wheel of a car, an extremely short-sighted, selfish, dangerous decision.”

In the video posted on social media, Chase claimed he attended a friend’s pool party before his arrest. He said he left the party after a fight broke out. Chase admitted he should have “Ubered” instead of attempting to drive home, which he said was a “few miles” from the party.

He said, “I should’ve Ubered, but for some reason decided to drive home and that decision alone kills people every single day, so I understand the severity of it.”

He added, “Obviously, it was humiliating having to be pulled over and taken in. Terrible look for me, and I’ve experienced so [many] lows on this app, as you guys know.”

Chase called it an “inward problem” that he needs to “work on.” He asked that nobody blame his family or friends for his bad decision.

He stated, “It’s not a reflection of my parents, who have raised me much better than that. It’s not a reflection on the people around me, who know how stupid that is and how selfish it was.”

Chase said he told Miranda, 27, about the arrest, and he felt that he had been a “disappointment” to her. “So, that sucks,” he said when talking about letting Miranda down.

Chase and Miranda were married from 2017 to 2024. The exes share two children: Brooks, 6, and Cohen, 4.

As Us first reported, Miranda had her own legal problems this year. The Hulu star was ordered to pay a five-figure default judgment over an unpaid credit card bill after failing to respond to a lawsuit.
