Summer House’s Jesse Solomon claimed that he has more tea to spill about Amanda Batula and West Wilson’s romance.
Solomon, 32, alluded that he has more info on Batula, 34, and Wilson’s relationship while responding to Instagram comments on Thursday, April 2. As he promoted his new song “Guess I’ll Start,” fans poked fun at Solomon for acting so nonchalant amid the drama.
“Prove you weren’t involved and then maybe we will stream the music,” one follower wrote, to which Solomon replied, “I’ve got receipts dw.” Another fan quoted Batula’s estranged husband, Kyle Cooke, and wrote, “Not now Jesse — CARL IS A MESS!!! 🤣🤣🤣.” Soloman replied by revealing who he is siding with amid Batula and Wilson’s romance. “My heart is with Ciara and Kyle. And Carl [Radke],” Solomon wrote about his costars.
Solomon previously gave fans insight into what he knew about Batula and Wilson’s connection on Wednesday, April 1. “I heard the rumors, but they were denied to me multiple times,” he wrote via Instagram.
Batula and Wilson confirmed rumors that a romance blossomed from their platonic bond on Tuesday, March 31, via Instagram.
“We’ve seen the growing online speculation, so while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity,” the pair wrote in a statement. “It was never our intention to purposely hide anything. Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it.”
Their joint message continued, “We’ve shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what’s developed recently was the last thing either of us expected. Our connection grew out of a genuine, longstanding friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care.”
Many fans were shocked to learn that Batula and Wilson were indeed romantically involved after hearing rumors they were secretly dating. Batula recently split from Cooke, 43, after four years of marriage, and Wilson was previously in a relationship with Batula’s close friend, Ciara Miller, who has since unfollowed Batula and Wilson following their statement.
“As our feelings evolved, we wanted to take time to understand exactly what we were feeling,” Wilson and Batula wrote. We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless. We truly appreciate the understanding and respect as we navigate this.”
In January, Cooke and Batula announced their separation. “After much reflection, we have mutually and amicably decided to part ways as a couple. We share this with a heavy heart and kindly ask for your grace and support while we focus on our personal growth and healing,” the now-exes shared at the time.
Wilson, for his part, dated Miller, 30, in 2023 but called it quits after he was unable to commit to her.
Cooke broke his silence on Batula and Wilson’s romance on April 1, telling street journalist Adam Glyn that he is “worried” about her. “I just feel bad. Amanda knows that what she did was wrong, and she’s trying to come to terms with it, but she is not [doing] well,” noting that he was still trying to “understand the timeline” between the two.
