What, no burn book? After spending her first few years in the spotlight (mostly due to the silly faces she’d make as a young child), Suri Cruise has spent some time away from the cameras since her mom, Katie Holmes, and her dad, Tom Cruise, split in 2012. But on Saturday, Sept. 26, Suri, 9, stood up in front of a crowd of thousands at NYC’s Central Park.
She was attending the 2015 Global Citizen Festival, where Holmes, 36, was hosting before bringing her little girl on stage. Click here to see more photos of Suri and Katie.
Suri wore a pink bow in her hair along with gray leggings, a pink and white dress, and a white sweater over top, while Holmes went for an all-black look in dark jeans and a leather coat.
The Ray Donovan actress encouraged her daughter to wave at the massive crowd, who had gathered to see big acts like Beyonce, Ed Sheeran, Pearl Jam, and more, for the fundraising concert to end world poverty.
Though Suri has appeared in several of her mom’s Instagram posts, she last attended a public event back in March at the 2015 Kids’ Choice Awards in Hollywood, where fellow A-list kids Zahara, 10, and Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, 8, also attended with their mom, Angelina Jolie, who ended up winning Favorite Villain for her lead role in Maleficent.
