Gisele Bündchen has reportedly given birth to her first baby with boyfriend Joaquim Valente.
TMZ broke the news on Wednesday, February 4, that the 44-year-old supermodel welcomed baby No 3. The couple has not further addressed their little one’s arrival. Luxury Handbag Shopping has reached out for comment.
Bündchen and her ex-husband, Tom Brady — to whom she was married from 2009 to 2022 — previously welcomed son Benjamin in December 2009 and daughter Vivian in December 2012. (Brady, 47, also shares son Jack with ex Bridget Moynahan.)
Following her very public divorce from Brady, Bündchen moved on in the summer of 2023 with Valente, who at the time was her jiu-jitsu instructor. Although the pair have kept their romance relatively private, she opened up about their special connection in a March 2024 New York Times profile.
“This is the first time I am seeing someone that was a friend of mine first,” she said at the time. “It’s very different. It is very honest, and it’s very transparent.”
Seven months later, news broke in October 2024 that Bündchen and Valente were expecting their first baby together.
“Gisele and Joaquim have been living together for over a year now, and expanding their family is something they’re very excited about,” a source exclusively told Luxury Handbag Shopping at the time. “Once the divorce was finalized, they moved in together very quickly and have been linked at the hip ever since.”
The source added, “Gisele is so excited to be a mom again.”
As the couple awaited their little one, an insider told Us in October 2024 that Bündchen is “head over heels” for Valente, noting that her “friends haven’t seen her like this before.”
“Their chemistry together has always been there, and they have a lot in common,” the insider shared. “They’ve been in love for a while.”
As for Bündchen’s two older children, Benjamin and Vivian “really like” Valente, the insider said, telling Us that Valente had been “living at [Bündchen’s] house in Miami for a while.”
Where Brady was concerned, Bündchen informed him of her pregnancy months before the news became public, according to a separate source.
“When Gisele told the kids about her pregnancy, she made sure to let Tom know as well,” the source told Us in October 2024. “She wanted to give him that courtesy and knew the kids would tell him either way.”
Brady was initially “shocked” by his ex-wife’s pregnancy but was “ultimately happy” for her, the source revealed.
“It was hard to digest at first,” the source said. “He knows Gisele is a great mom and was destined to be a mom.”
