Brittany Cartwright got candid about her “mommy makeover” surgery.
Cartwright, 37, exclusively opened up to Luxury Handbag Shopping about her new look while promoting season 3 of The Valley. “It was something I’ve been wanting to do for a very long time, and I had lost a lot of confidence in my last relationship, and the timing was right,” Cartwright told Us, referencing her divorce from estranged husband Jax Taylor.
“It just felt right. So, I finally pulled the trigger and got it done, and I just feel so much better,” the Vanderpump Rules alum gushed. “Especially being single, I just really wanted to do it. I wanted to feel good naked — and I look awesome naked by the way,” she laughed.
Cartwright also shared that she’s still “a little swollen” from getting new breast implants and a tummy tuck, but still feels “great.”
“I’m not in pain anymore, and it was just the best decision for me,” she told Us. “I think women should do whatever makes them feel comfortable. I support it, whether you want to have something like that done, whether you don’t, as long as you feel confident, comfortable, that’s what matters the most, and it really has helped me.”
Cartwright also said her newfound confidence has influenced her wardrobe. “I have a crop top on today,” she proudly shared. “You would never see my belly button [before the surgery]. That was never going to happen.”
The Bravo star first opened up about her cosmetic surgery in October 2025 amid her divorce from Taylor, 46, with whom she shares son Cruz, 4.
At the time, she posted a mirror selfie via Instagram of her upper body wrapped up while recovering. “When they said ‘remove what no longer serves you,’ I took it literally 💅,” she wrote alongside the pic. “In all seriousness, y’all know I always keep it real — and sooo…I did a thing. Something I’ve wanted to do for years and I finally took the step for me. Still recovering, but feeling stronger (and lighter) every day. Can’t wait to share more with you soon!”
