About

Rebecca Gayheart is an American actress and model known for her work in film and television and for her breakout as the Noxzema spokesperson in the 1990s. Gayheart was born in Hazard, Kentucky, and later moved to New York City as a teenager to pursue a career in entertainment. She attended the Professional Children’s School and studied acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute.

Gayheart began her career as a model and gained national attention as the “Noxzema girl” in a series of popular commercials in the ’90s. She transitioned into acting, landing her first onscreen appearance in the film Whatever Happened to Mason Reese? and scored a recurring role on the soap opera Loving. She later joined Beverly Hills, 90210, which helped raise her profile with a wider television audience.

The actress went on to appear in feature films throughout the early 2000s, including Urban Legend (1998) and Jawbreaker (1999). She also had guest roles on series such as Nip/Tuck, Vanished and CSI: Miami.

Gayheart was previously engaged to childhood sweetheart Brett Ratner, but the pair called it quits in 1999. She later married Eric Dane in 2004. The couple welcomed two daughters together, Billie (born in 2010) and Georgia (born in 2011). They separated in 2018 after Gayheart filed for divorce but have continued to coparent their children. She requested to dismiss their divorce in 2025. That same year, she sparked dating rumors with billionaire Peter Morton.
