Sarah Jessica Parker

Sarah Jessica Parker got her start on stage, starring in the 1976 Broadway revival of The Innocents at the age of 11 before landing the lead role in Annie in 1979. After a series of small television and film roles, Parker starred in films Girls Just Want to Have Fun (1985), Honeymoon in Vegas (1992) and Hocus Pocus (1993). She continued her success on Broadway with a leading role in Once Upon a Mattress (1996-1997).

Parker shot to international stardom when she played Carrie Bradshaw on HBO’s television series Sex and the City. Carrie Bradshaw quickly became a fashion and cultural icon and is one of the most well-known female characters in television history. The show aired from 1998 to 2004, with Parker earning two Emmy Awards, three Screen Actors Guild Awards and four Golden Globe Awards for her performance.

Reprising her role as Carrie Bradshaw, Parker starred in films Sex and the City (2008), Sex and the City 2 (2010) and the revival series And Just Like That…, which premiered on Max in 2021. She also maintained her career in film, starring in The Family Stone (2005), Failure to Launch (2006) and New Year’s Eve (2011). Parker briefly appeared on Fox’s Glee in 2012 and executive produced and starred in the HBO series Divorce from 2016 to 2019.

Parker dated Robert Downey Jr. and John F. Kennedy Jr. in the ‘80s before meeting Matthew Broderick in 1991. Parker and Broderick tied the knot in 1997 and welcomed son James in October 2002. Twins Marion and Tabitha arrived via surrogate in June 2009. Parker and Broderick have costarred in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (1996) and Plaza Suite (2022) on Broadway.
