Carissa Mosness

Carissa Mosness (she/her) is an Assistant Digital Editor in the Books, Entertainment and News verticals at Woman’s World magazine. Previously, she worked as a Blog Post Writer at the University of Wyoming’s American Heritage Center and as a Social Media Manager and Staff Writer for the university’s student-run newspaper, The Branding Iron. She has also contributed to First for Women and US Weekly. Mosness graduated from the University of Wyoming, where she majored in English Literary Studies and minored in Creative Writing. While there, she earned an Honorable Mention award from the Creative Writing Department for her nonfiction work, as well as a Rookie of the Year Award and a Most Improved Writer Award for her work at The Branding Iron. She currently lives in New York City and spends her free time reading, listening to Taylor Swift and sipping on an ice-cold Diet Coke.
