Introduced in Spring-Summer 2023, the Della Cavalleria Elan reimagines the original 2020 silhouette in an east-west design. Retaining the signature horse-bit clasp and curved underside, this version offers a slightly roomier interior with a back slip pocket and interior card slot. Unlike the original, the Elan’s strap attaches to the sides via discreet D-rings, offering a range of 27–44 inches for versatile shoulder or crossbody wear.

The Della Cavalleria is available in a small, considered lineup of leathers, primarily Epsom and Tadelakt, with select exotic versions released occasionally.

Structured and durable, Epsom calfskin is defined by its embossed, cross-hatched grain. Lightweight yet resilient, it maintains the Della Cavalleria’s form and accordion-style design, all the while offering excellent scratch resistance and vibrant color retention. A polished yet practical choice, Epsom suits everyday wear while preserving the bag’s striking silhouette.

Often mistaken for Box calfskin, Tadelakt leather features a smooth, almost lustrous finish that accentuates the bag’s curves. Slightly more delicate, it is a less common choice with an elegant vibe. 

Exotic variations of the Della Cavalleria are occasionally found in Alligator Mississippiensis. While it may resemble Crocodile skin at first glance, Alligator is known for its smaller, more uniform scales. The Della Cavalleria originally launched in a PM size larger than the current Mini, though this edition has since been discontinued. Today, the bag is offered in two sizes—the Mini and the Elan.
