Princess Anne knows what she likes when it comes to hairstyles.
Anne, who is the daughter of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip, has been rocking a voluminous bouffant for over 50 years — but it wasn’t always that way.
When she was just 19 years old in 1970, Anne wore her copper hair down and pushed back with her crown slightly teased while enjoying a countryside day, which was her staple for the next few years. Also in 1970, she experimented with long, bouncy curls.
By 1973, she debuted her signature bouffant and never looked back — until July 2025, when she shocked fans with a classy bun at a State Banquet at Windsor Castle in London. The updo featured the sides of her hair pulled back, twisted before being gathered in a voluminous bun. She teamed the look with her diamond Festoon Tiara.
