After saying “yes” to their fiancés sight unseen, the Love Is Blind brides have just four weeks to plan a wedding and find the bridal gown of their dreams.
To help the process, Netflix organizes a collective shopping trip for all of the brides and a handful of special guests.
“Trying on wedding dresses is something my mom and I have always talked about,” Lauren Speed-Hamilton, who eventually married Cameron Hamilton during season 1, said in a confessional. “She’s always wanted to help me pick my dress for the big day, so we’re finally at that time.”

Where Are the Wedding Dresses From?
As each Love Is Blind season is set in a different city, the bridal fittings are similarly set in a different local boutique per season. Many season 1 brides picked out gowns from Atlanta’s CTO Bridal, while the Seattle-based contestants went to A&Bé Bridal Shop during season 4.
During the group fittings, the ladies can pick from a rack of dresses from a variety of designers.
“Since it was such a quick turnaround, most of the wedding dresses came from our off-the-rack sample collection,” an April 2023 TikTok post from A&Bé read. “Select bridal designers do offer stock, so we were able to pull a few pieces from there, as well. All this happened in about a week, which is a really quick time for alterations.”
Since season 7, Allure Bridals has provided the collection of wedding gowns to the Netflix brides-to-be. The brand’s Allure Suits & Tuxedos have also offered suits to the grooms beginning in season 9.
Do Contestants Have to Pick Dresses Featured on the Show?
Love Is Blind cast members are not told that their dream dresses have to be one of the pre-allocated options. Madison Maidenberg from season 9 even picked out her No. 1 pick ahead of the fitting scene.
“I actually picked a different dress that you do not see me pick onscreen,” Madison wrote via her Instagram Stories in October 2025, revealing that she actually picked an A-line, sleeveless gown with an open back instead of an off-the-shoulder frock. “I also did a private fitting off camera the day before.”
Madison, however, never got to wear her dress, as her fiancé, Joe Ferrucci, called off their nuptials just hours after leaving his tuxedo fitting.
Season 4 alum Bliss Poureetezadi-Goytowski, for her part, wasn’t impressed with any of the gowns on the rack. In the middle of her appointment, the Seattle shop received a last-minute shipment that included the off-the-shoulder Wtoo dress of her dreams.
“This dress was not supposed to make it to @aandbe_bridalshop in time. It was specifically ordered based on the inspo I had sent but it was delayed and was going to arrive too late,” Bliss, who married Zack Goytowski on the show, wrote via Instagram in April 2023. “The other options just weren’t quite right for me. I had no idea they had ordered this dress and was feeling nervous [that] I wouldn’t find the right one. In the middle of filming, a driver delivered a package. It was this dress that somehow arrived two days before the estimated delayed delivery date. It was the second dress I tried on and I just knew it was it.”
Season 10 bride Brittany Wicker actually picked out and purchased a wedding gown before even entering the pods.
“I bought her dress because I said, ‘This here is faith,’” Brittany’s mom, Susana, said on the show, which aired in February 2026. “‘We truly believe that you are going to find your person.’ So, we did. We bought the dress.”
Who Pays for the Wedding Dresses?
Just like the cast’s engagement rings, Netflix and production company Kinetic Content covers the cost of most bridal gowns.
“Everything is actually paid for,” season 2 alum Deepti Vempati said on a March 2024 episode of her “Out of the Pods” podcast. “When it came to our wedding dresses, Natalie [Lee] and I had to pay a little bit out of pocket. For me, my wedding outfit was very expensive, and they couldn’t cover the cost.”
While Natalie chose a white, strapless ballgown for her wedding to now-ex Shayne Jansen, Deepti opted for a traditional Indian lehenga from a different shop.
“I had to cover some of it on my own,” Deepti said. “But, apart from that and groceries when [my ex Shake Chatterjee and I] were living together, everything was paid for.”
As for Natalie, she explained on the podcast that her chosen frock wasn’t initially included in the show’s selection.
“My dress was a little bit more expensive than what they provided to us,” Natalie revealed on the podcast, concurring that she had to cover a portion of the cost herself.
What Happens to Provided Dresses If the Wedding Is Called Off?
Jilted brides are not required to return their gowns to Netflix, according to Natalie. During a 2023 episode of her and Deepti’s podcast, Natalie revealed that she emailed production after filming wrapped about the next steps and was told that she could keep both her ring and gown. Deepti did the same, though she ultimately threw her ring off a boat into Lake Michigan.
