Selena Gomez is a glowing bride-to-be!
The actress and singer, 33, shared several pictures from her bachelorette party on her Instagram account late Thursday, August 28, just days after jetting off to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, with her closest girlfriends for a weekend of celebrations.
Gomez opted for white throughout the weekend, posting a pic of herself wearing a cute white Cult Gaia dress embroidered with floral patterns. In another snap, the Only Murders in the Building star can be seen in a beaded halterneck white minidress, which she accessorized with a Lulus wedding veil reading “bride to be.”
The Emmy nominee also hit the beach with her “bride to be” veil. Another photo shows the star posing on a sandy beach in a white bikini. Gomez’s face is turned away from the camera, putting all the emphasis on her cute veil.
Not only was the actress decked out in wedding accessories — including a “bride to be” sash — but so was the accommodation she and her pals were staying in. The carousel shows that the living room was adorned with balloon letters reading “Mrs. Levin,” a nod to fiancé Benny Blanco‘s real name, Benjamin Levin, while Gomez’s bedroom had “bride” in balloon letters above her bed. The room itself was filled with various balloons, including heart-shaped decorations.
Gomez concluded the slideshow with a video highlighting all the weekend’s activities, from dinner by a fire to a boat trip, and even a band performing just for the star and her friends.
“It was a very fun but chill weekend,” a source exclusively told Luxury Handbag Shopping on Wednesday, August 27. “These girls have been close to her for over a decade now, so it meant the world to her to celebrate these moments with them.”
The source said that Gomez and company enjoyed “private dinners with a chef and a villa to themselves, with plenty of lounging in the sun.”
“Her girlfriends went out of their way to make Selena feel really special,” the source told Us, noting that Gomez’s friends placed photos of Blanco “everywhere” and had “fun games planned” for the star.
“It was your typical, traditional bachelorette and what Selena wanted,” the source said. “She was radiating all weekend and was so happy to have downtime with her girlfriends. Selena is a simple girl, and the little things go a long way with her. She truly exudes happiness when she talks about Benny. She is very excited to start this next chapter with him.”
Gomez and Blanco, 37, confirmed their engagement in December 2024 after around 18 months of dating.
