Just like Us, Selena Gomez is obsessed with her engagement ring.
Gomez, 32, took to Instagram on Thursday, December 19, to show off her marquise-shaped diamond engagement ring from Benny Blanco. Her ring — which is estimated to be six carats and worth $225,000, according to Jared Jewelers expert and VP of Merchandising Ann Grimmett — features an elongated diamond set on a gold band adorned with more rocks. Grimmett also told Luxury Handbag Shopping that the sparkler was “rare, given less than five percent of diamonds are marquise.”
In the mirror selfie, Gomez beamed for the camera while zooming in on the jewelry. She complimented her sparkler with a pearly manicure, thanks to the Pink Whip magnetic gel polish by celebrity nail artist Tom Bachik.
Gomez added even more glamor to her look with Chanel earrings, pink eyeshadow and rosy lips.
In a separate snap, Gomez showed off just how sparkly her ring is in the sunlight. “I’ve just dreamed of this moment my whole life,” she gushed.
Gomez announced her engagement earlier this month alongside adorable snaps of her and Blanco, 36, cuddling up as she held her hand up to the camera. Blanco kissed her head as she leaned into his hug.
While getting on one knee, the music producer set up a romantic picnic on a set. Gomez wore a fluffy coat and Banana Republic blue jeans for their day, which included her favorite guilty pleasure, Taco Bell.
Gomez and Blanco go back to 2015, when they met while working on some of her top hits together, including “Same Old Love” and “Kill ‘Em With Kindness.” Nearly a decade later, the duo sparked romance rumors while taking a pic together at her 31st birthday party. In July 2023, Gomez confirmed their relationship via Instagram.
