Colin Jost is rooting for the New York Mets in the NLCS, and so is his wife, Scarlett Johansson —  in her own sartorial way.

Johansson, 39, and Jost, 42, stepped out at the Thursday, October 17, home game against the Los Angeles Dodgers, where the Saturday Night Live star rocked a Mets baseball cap. Johansson also rocked a similar hat for the occasion except hers read, “The Met.”

Johansson’s hat was from NYC’s The Metropolitan Museum of Art, a.k.a the famed home of the annual Met Gala and other important historical artifacts and paintings.

While neither the Black Widow actress nor Jost have addressed their nearly matching hats, social media users were in a tizzy about the viral moment.

“Scarlett Johansson at the #LADvsNYM game with Colin Jost wearing a hat that says ‘The Met’ on it actually deserves an Emmy,” one X user wrote.

Another added, “Scarlett Johansson wearing a Met Museum hat is absolutely genius and hilarious I love her.”

Johansson and Jost have been together since 2017, getting married three years later. They welcomed son Cosmo in 2021. (Johansson also shares eldest daughter Rose with ex-husband Romain Dauriac.)

The actress and her comedian spouse are also willing to play jokes on one another, like with the mistaken Mets hats.

“I will say, we have such a — we laugh a lot and we communicate with one another and check in,” the Marvel actress previously said on CBS Mornings in June 2023. “I’m married to a writer, he’s a comedy writer. He can get, like, very in his head sometimes, he’s sort of introverted. I’m extroverted, and so I think the key for us is just always checking in, just asking at the end of the day, ‘How was your day?’”

Jost also name-drops his wife on SNL episodes, many times via jokes written by his “Weekend Update” coanchor Michael Che.
