Exhibit A? Attending the Mad Max: Fury Road premiere on Thursday, May 14, Lenina somehow managed to outshine even the film’s star, Charlize Theron, which is no small feat.
She did so in a revealing white gown featuring a sheer bodice and strategically placed lace appliqués, which she accessorized with golf ball-sized rings, beaded wrist cuffs, pearlescent earrings that fell past her collarbone, and white feathered fairy wings attached to her back. One day later, at the Cannes premiere of Woody Allen‘s Irrational Man on May 15, she turned up again with an even crazier ‘do: an extreme double-bun the size of two basketballs. (Hope no one was sitting behind her during the movie!)

Her outfit was similarly outrageous: a see-through black lace gown with modesty ruffles to keep things from getting X-rated, plus black versions of the statement-making jewelry she wore to the Mad Max premiere.

Lenina is in fact famous for her insane Cannes ensembles — she makes a splash every year, despite the fact that her most recent credit on IMDb is a TV series in 2012. Last year she attended the Grace of Monaco premiere in a sky-high tiara wrapped around an elaborate hive of curls, and in 2013 she showed up with layers of red lace woven through her hair, which had been swirled to look like whipped cream.
