Katie Cassidy stood out at one of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week's most star-studded events in New York City, thanks to her brand-new hair color.
Clad in a form-fitting pink cocktail dress, the natural blonde, 24, debuted a rich, glossy brunette color during the QVC Fashion Week Show on September 10. The next day, she hit up several shows with her hair pulled back in a chic side-parted ponytail.
This isn't the first time the Monte Carlo actress has showed off her darker side — she dyed her hair brown for her 2009 role in CBS' Harper's Island.
"It's interesting to see how people react. When I was blonde, it was almost as if people didn't take me as seriously. Like, 'Oh, here's another blonde girl.' I don't think it's fair," Cassidy told Maxim.com in a 2009 interview.
No word on whether the California native's hair-hue switch is for a new role or she's just staying on-trend by experimenting with a new color for fall, which she had done at NYC's Valery Joseph Salon.
