And another one! Paris Jackson’s numerous tattoos include homages to her late father, Michael Jackson, and her grandmother Katherine Jackson. Most recently, the 18-year-old revealed an additional work of art — this time behind her right ear.
The ink features a pair of crisscrossed feathers with turquoise and brown beads. "couldn't ever ask for better ink than from my man @dermagraphink!" she captioned a closeup of the design via Instagram on Sunday, July 31, while thanking her L.A.-based tattoo artist.

Along with the tributes to her father and grandmother, Jackson also has tattoos dedicated to other artists she admires, including Prince's iconic symbol and David Bowie's lightening bolt, which are both located on her right hand. She has more nature-inspired ink as well: an elk on her right forearm and a lotus above her left wrist.
Though the Jacksons: Next Generation star hasn't explained the significance behind the feathers, she previously admitted that her growing collection is a way to rewrite her own history. "I appreciate art, I always have. especially when that art means something to me," Jackson began in an emotional message shared via Instagram on June 14. "Today I can look at my inner forearms and see art that has meaning for me, I don't see a dark past anymore."
Jackson, who struggled with self-harm and depression in the past, uses tattoos to look to the future. "My scars and past of self-hatred have been covered by loving marks, creativity, ingenuity … and depth," she explained. "Sure I will always carry my past with me, but I see ink as a way of changing for the better, always improving. they represent strength for me. I look back at my old self and then I look in the mirror, and I see a fighter looking back at me."
The teen hopes her journey can help anyone else who faces similar challenges, too. "I'll always keep fighting, and encouraging others to stay strong," she wrote. "We all go through hell every now and then but it makes us the warriors of love we were meant to be. so to anyone struggling, it gets better. you're not alone."
