What would Marissa Cooper say? Former O.C. star Mischa Barton stepped out in Los Angeles on Friday, Dec. 13 looking fresh-faced as she opted to go without makeup while pumping gas.
Barton wore a navy mesh, oversized sweater with dark skinny jeans, and paired the look with a large off-white purse.
The 27-year-old British-born star kept a relatively low profile after being killed off The O.C. in 2006. In August 2013, Barton talked with Luxury Handbag Shopping about a potential reunion of the hit Fox show.
"You know — never say never," she told Us. "But, I think things have to feel right and it doesn't feel right. You can't say that you feel one way or another about things, but before The O.C. I was on track to do some great films, as well, and one things happens and then I got this mega stardom all from this show. It is what it is, but I'm not looking to get sucked back into the limelight of it."
Since The O.C., Barton has been in a series of indie flicks. The former party girl made headlines for her DUI arrest in 2007, and was admitted to a psych ward and placed under an involuntary hold — like other troubled stars Britney Spears and Amanda Bynes — in 2009.
"Luckily, [I'm not] so much in the spotlight," Barton told The Daily Beast four years later in March 2013. "The craziness of The O.C. has died down and gone away."
