Love Is Blind star Ali Lima brought the glam to the season 9 reunion — without breaking the bank.
Ali, 29, revealed via her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, October 29, that she chose a golden Bronx and Banco gown for the upcoming reunion. The frock, which retails for $800, features a deep-V neckline and is covered in gold sequins. She accessorized her ‘fit with a handful of gold bangles and rings.
For glam, the nurse wore a plum-colored lipstick and styled her long locks in loose waves that cascaded over both shoulders.
As Ali shared a glimpse of her reunion ensemble, she set her social media post to Gwen Stefani’s “Luxurious.”
Ali’s appearance on Love Is Blind season 9 sparked numerous fan speculation that she had previously undergone several cosmetic procedures — speculation she recently shut down.
“She looks nothing like her sisters, she must have had so much plastic surgery,” Ali wrote on top of a Friday, October 24, TikTok video of herself lip-synching the phrase, “No sir.”
Ali further teased in her post caption that she planned to reveal “info on [her] transformation” shortly, before responding to a handful of comments. Ali “liked” several fan comments that read, “People just mad you’re stunning,” “God forbid a girl has natural beauty” and “Your sisters are beautiful.”
Several Reddit users had claimed that Ali had work done after seemingly resurfacing old photos online.
“That’s my old roommate, but you’re getting warmer,” Ali wrote via TikTok comment, referring to the throwback photo in question.
Ali had gotten engaged to Anton Yarosh sight unseen during Love Is Blind season 9, which was filmed in Denver two years ago and premiered on Netflix last month. Ali, however, broke up with Anton, 29, at the altar.
“It was really hard to leave him up there. I almost wish he would have said no,” she tearfully said in a confessional during the finale. “I was really hoping that standing up there with him would, like, make me feel at ease and confident. It just didn’t feel right or how I would expect that moment to feel like.”
Ali further claimed that it “didn’t feel right” marrying Anton because he allegedly hadn’t been forthcoming about his off-camera lifestyle.
“Some of the information that I learned about Anton through his friends threw off my perspective of him,” Ali said, repeating accusations that the truck driver had a drinking problem. “It just feels really s***ty to be the one walking away.”
Anton, who has denied having a substance abuse problem on multiple occasions, has also addressed Ali’s decision to end their engagement.
“You know, she said that she feels like I’m not the person that I was in the pods,” Anton said in a confessional interview. “I don’t know if it’s looks, I don’t know if it’s the vibes or I don’t know if it’s the way that we were living together, but I can say that I’ve done nothing but care for her and it f***ing sucks, man.”
The Love Is Blind season 9 reunion airs on Netflix Wednesday, October 29, at 9 p.m. ET.
