Liam Hemsworth gave fiancée Gabriella Brooks a dreamy engagement ring.
The model, 29, made sure to show off her timeless diamond sparkler while announcing her plans to wed Hemsworth, 35, via Instagram on Thursday, September 11. In the photo, she wrapped her arms around the actor while gazing into the camera. She also gave fans a zoomed-in glimpse of her bling, which featured a cushion-cut diamond set in a gold band with a thin bezel.
Jeweler Laura Taylor, who specializes in engagement and wedding rings, broke down the ring to Luxury Handbag Shopping, sharing that she estimated the rock to be “around 4 or 5 carats.”
“Cushion cuts are known for their soft, pillow-like shape and larger facets which tend to flash in the light rather than sparkle,” Taylor added. “This gives the diamond a romantic, antique-inspired look that has become quite popular this year.”
Taylor added, “Depending on the quality and carat weight, a ring like this would likely be worth between $300,000 and $425,000 dollars.”
Another jeweler, Justin Daughters, who is the managing director at Berganza Antique & Vintage Jewelers, agreed that the ring “would likely retail between $200,000 and $400,000.”

Hemsworth popped the question to Brooks after nearly six years of dating. While they keep their relationship mostly private, in 2021, Brooks gushed about her romance while chatting with Stellar.
“My personal relationship is very, very important and very sacred to me,” she gushed. “And I feel like in an industry where so much is put out on show, there are some things you just want to keep to yourself. I completely understand [the interest in our relationship]. But at the end of the day, I guess I just like having that for me.”
