Bold move! Kate Middleton managed to pull off a bold floral look at a black-tie event. The Duchess of Cambridge donned a sleeveless Erdem silk floral gown to attend the 100 Women in Hedge Funds event at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London on Tuesday, Oct. 27.
Her dress featured a boatneck, seamed bodice, and tiered, gathered floor-length skirt. Prince William’s wife kept it elegant by revealing a bit of skin with the dress’ V-back. The floral gown retails for $4,560.00.
Middleton ditched her ponytail and opted to let her bangs and locks flow free with a slight blown-out wave. She paired the gown with the late Queen Mother’s diamond and sapphire fringe earrings and a simple diamond bracelet.
Middleton presented the 100WHF 2015 European Leadership Award to Elizabeth Corley, chief executive officer of Allianz Global Investors, for her work mentoring future leaders of the investment banking industry.
The mom of two, who is known for recycling outfits, has been experimenting with prints as of late. On Monday, the royal donned a space-print dress for a special BAFTA charity screening of Shaun the Sheep: The Farmer’s Llamas. Later that evening she stayed true to her signature style and opted for a classy sheer open-backed Jenny Packham gown for the premiere of Spectre.
