If January is “divorce month,” February is the start of swimsuit season as far as newly single A-listers are concerned — and recently demonstrated by a bikini-clad Jessica Alba.
Just over one month after Alba, 43, and Cash Warren, her husband of 16 years, confirmed they were going their separate ways, the actress took a well-deserved trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, with their son, Hayes, 7 — along with a suitcase full of beachwear in tow. (In addition to Hayes, the estranged couple share daughters Honor, 16, and Haven, 13.)
When Alba took to Instagram on Monday, February 17, the Honest Company founder posed in barely-there two pieces, beginning with an Aguaclara Botanico Rose pink triangle top and a pair of matching Brazilian-style bottoms finished with gold metallic accents at each of the strings.
She wore a wrist-full of boho-chic beaded bracelets, large gold hoop earrings, a pair of aviator sunglasses and, to shield her face from the sun, sported a burgundy baseball cap with the phrase: “Lovers Rock.” Alba also added a GIF that said “Buenos Dias!” with a sunshine motif.
From there, Alba changed into a black bandeau top with a gauzy deep green sarong wrapped around her waist and an evil-eye gold bracelet. Her hair was styled in wind-proof braids as they spent the afternoon lounging leisurely on a beach chair at Las Ventanas Al Paraíso underneath a shady cabana.
Sharing a video of her vacay highlights, she wrote in the caption that it was “the perfect long weekend with my favorite little man.” Together, they enjoyed a mother-son dinner out at Flora Farms (fresh fish for her, pizza for him).
Alba looked every inch one hot mama dressed in a slinky black slip dress paired with a denim jacket overtop and coordinating peep-toe wedges. The perfect swimsuit coverup to go from the beach to the restaurant in a breeze.
