Wednesday Addams would never be caught dead in sequins and sparkles — but massive gemstones that push style boundaries? That’s another thing. Jenna Ortega channeled her beloved character and served up some fashion that was dark, daring and dangerously chic at the 2025 Emmy Awards.
The actress, 22, flashed major skin on the red carpet, rocking a midriff-baring top adorned with oversized multi-colored jewels and a high-waisted black skirt featuring a bold thigh-high slit upon her arrival at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.
She finished her Givenchy by Sarah Burton ensemble with strappy black stilettos, pearl stud earrings, a statement ring and a bracelet by Pomellato on Sunday, September 14.
“It is made of extra-large jewels and not much else,” style guru Zanna Roberts Rassi revealed about her outfit during Live From E!
The star, who was previously nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her role at the 2023 Emmys, is serving as a presenter at the star-studded shindig.
In honor of the special occasion, Ortega oozed edgy glamour with her dark, sleek hair parted in the center and dramatic glam, including a deep crimson lip.
“I’d like to say [my glam] changes, and sometimes it does, depending on how much time I have or what I’m doing later,” she said of her makeup style in a September 12 interview with Elle, just days before the highly anticipated soiree honoring the best in television.
“If I have an event I might wear a strong red lip, but I’m not experienced enough with make-up to do much else,” Ortega continued. “Every day I think I’m going to change my eyeliner, and it just turns into the same messy black look.”
Ortega leaned into her gothic glam this time around after going for a more playful and flirty look at last year’s Emmys, hitting the red carpet wearing an embellished Dior Haute Couture dress.
