When Hailee Steinfeld walked down the aisle to marry NFL star Josh Allen, all eyes were on her radiant glow — and now, her longtime makeup artist, Mary Phillips, is spilling every detail behind the picture-perfect bridal glam.
Phillips raved over the Sinners star, 28, being one of the “most beautiful brides” she’s ever worked on while sharing her beauty secrets in a Friday, August 22, newsletter released by Beau Society, founded by Steinfeld.
In order to achieve her flawless appearance that day, Phillips said she focused on dewy skincare, utilizing Augustinus Bader The Serum, The Rich Cream and The Eye Cream as well as NARS concealers and Chanel Vitalumiere foundation.
Phillips revealed that she opted for a Patrick Ta cream blush to get those flushed cheeks, pairing it with a mix of powder shades from Pat McGrath and Gucci. As for the eyes, she made Steinfeld’s pop in a subtle way with the Chanel Clair Obscur palette, MAC Blackout gel eyeliner and Armani Eyes to Kill Mascara, paired with Anastasia brow pencil and clear brow gel.
The actress’ perfect pout was achieved with Charlotte Tilbury lipstick in Pillow Talk II.
“I was so beyond grateful to have you part of what I knew would be the most magical weekend of my life,” Steinfeld gushed in her newsletter, revealing that having Phillips on board gave her the ultimate peace of mind as she trusts her artistry and technique “immensely.”
Phillips also gave a word of advice to future brides, noting they should consider doing “a trial before the wedding” — especially if they haven’t worked with their makeup artist prior to the event.
As Luxury Handbag Shopping previously reported, Steinfeld looked breathtaking in a classic white strapless gown for her big day, wearing an updo with a veil and opera gloves when she exchanged her vows with the Buffalo Bills quarterback, 29, on May 31.
The lovebirds were first romantically linked in May 2023 and went Instagram official in July 2024, going on to announce their engagement that November.
