Teen Mom’s Farrah Abraham Sets the Record Straight on Her Plastic Surgery: ‘I Love Who I Am’ (Exclusive)

Farrah Abraham is turning the page on her past and embracing the present with confidence.

The Teen Mom alum, 34, set the record straight on her plastic surgery journey in an exclusive interview with Luxury Handbag Shopping ahead of her Monday, September 22, episode on A&E’s docuseries Secrets of Celebrity Sex Tapes.

“I actually have no Botox, no filler, nothing in my lips. My face is just however my face is and my body,” she tells Us.

Abraham was glad to share that she is “happy” years after first appearing on MTV’s 16 and Pregnant in 2009, documenting her experience while preparing for and living life as a young mom. (She shares 16-year-old daughter Sophia with her late boyfriend, Derek Underwood.)

The In the Making author has been candid about the work she had done after her reality TV debut — including a breast augmentation, a nose job, a chin implant and more — but now Abraham says she is in a place of true self-acceptance.

“I actually love who I am at 34 but it has taken such a long way to get here to just be like, ‘Hey, this is plain Farrah, love that skin you’re in.’ And I needed this, and I think I needed to feel this alone, not with someone around me, because, like, my brain gets confused sometimes, of like, you know, happiness with relationships, but it’s actually happiness with self,” she adds.

Abraham tells Us that seeing her face looking “super puffy” on the small screen made her reconsider getting Botox and filler, also reflecting on an allergic reaction she had while celebrating her birthday.

“And so because I was having those allergic reactions to some of the fillers, I’m like, ‘I need, I need to stop this.’ It was bothering everything,” she explains. “So I’m happy to not be bothered right now. And breathe right? Normal, yeah. Thank God.”

Looking ahead, Abraham will tell her “story of survival and sexual health” on the new A&E series, which takes “an unfiltered deep dive into the most infamous celebrity sex tapes.”
