Jan Ravnik and Jen Affleck may have channeled Taylor Swift during their Dancing With the Stars debut.
Jan, 30, and Jen, 26, danced their hearts out to “NUEVAToL” by Bad Bunny on the premiere episode of Dancing With the Stars season 34 on Tuesday, September 16. For their salsa, they both wore bright orange outfits.
Jan, who danced in Swift’s Eras Tour from its March 2023 kickoff to the conclusion in December 2024, wore a sequin bright orange shirt that plunged to his waist. He teamed the look with white high-waisted pants.
Jen, meanwhile, glittered in a cutout frock featuring a sequin plunging top and feathered mini skirt. The duo scored a 12 out of 20 for their performance. (Scores were out of 20 as third judge Carrie Ann Inaba was out sick.)
Following the premiere, fans were quick to connect their ensembles to Swift’s new album theme, which also happens to feature the color orange. As Swifties know, each of her eras has a designated hue to go with it, and for her 12th album, The Life of a Showgirl, the singer chose orange.
“Not to Make Everything About Taylor Swift but Jan’s outfit is sooo ts12 coded i love the orange,” one fan wrote via X on Tuesday. A second agreed, noting that Jen’s feathered skirt perfectly tied in with Swift’s aesthetic: “And Jen’s outfit is so showgirl coded too!!!!”
Another social media user quipped, “Jan wore sparkly orange and got a first score of 12. Oh TS12voodoo,” as someone else agreed, “My daughter and I shrieked so loud when we noticed!! Being a swiftie is so superior.”
Swift, 35, announced The Life of a Showgirl in August and shared that it’ll be released on October 3. She previously teased that the color of her album would be the vibrant orange during her Eras Tour, with surprise costumes, including a crystal-embellished Versace bodysuit and blazer, and more.
