Brie Larson can truly pull off any haircut.
Larson, 35, showed off her freshly dyed and cut tresses via Instagram on Monday, November 25. In the black-and-white photo, fans caught a glimpse of Larson’s new dark tresses, which were cut into a short pixie cut. Her bangs were pushed to the right side of her forehead with her sides trimmed above her ears.
The actress styled her mane — which was previously dyed her signature blonde color and cut to her bust — with an off-the-shoulder black top and a fresh face. In one snap, she turned her head to the side and beamed into the camera before dramatically gazing.
“Elektra is here,” she captioned the post, referencing her character, Elektra, in the upcoming West End play.
While some fans questioned if Larson was wearing a wig, more praised her new ‘do in the comments section.
“OH GOD YOU LOOK SO GOOD WITH THIS HAIRSTYLE!!!!” one person commented, as a second fan added, “This suits you so much im OBSESSED.” A third complimented the actress, “That looks amazing Brie ❤️😍.”
Through the years, Larson has experimented with different shades of blonde, copper strands, brunette hair and more.
In 2012, she rocked cool brown tresses at an Autumn party in Hollywood, styling her main in a look that was so trendy at the time — a teased updo. Larson slicked the sides of her mane back with her roots combed into a voluminous beehive.
Years later, Larson glowed with red hair at the 2016 Comic-Con. Her mane was cut past her collarbone and worn in loose girls for the event.
One month later, Larson dyed her hair brown before going back to blonde in October 2016. She chopped her mane a few inches and debuted platinum blonde locks that were styled in beachy waves at the British Academy Britannia Awards. Larson is always up for a hair makeover!
