Calling all Swifties!
This week’s episode of Luxury Handbag Shopping’s Breaking Beauty series was all about Fazit’s Glitter Freckles. The temporary tattoos were recently seen on Taylor Swift at a Kansas City Chiefs game, who showed her support for boyfriend Travis Kelce by sporting golden freckles that matched the team’s colors across her nose and cheekbones..
After Swift, 34, wore the freckles on Monday, October 7, senior editor Crista Laqua and I (assistant editor Grace Riley) couldn’t wait to get our hands on the Fazit Glitter Freckles Makeup Patches and try them out ourselves.
The Swift-approved Spirit Collection retails for $16 for a pack of six. With sets in red, blue, purple and orange, the patches deliver decidedly realistic freckle-like results (plus stars and sparkles for glittery good measure).
While Crista opted for silver, I went for the gold à la Swift.
We found the specks to be surprisingly simple (and quick!) to apply. After sticking the freckles to our face, we dabbed the patches with a wet paper towel. Within seconds, they were transferred onto our skin.
We both agreed that they gave our cheeks a subtle lit-from-within glow that would be a hit at any Halloween party, music festival or concert. With their foolproof application and fun colors, it’s never been easier to be in your freckles era.
Better yet, the glitter patches promise to last up to three days, making them ideal for a weekend trip to Coachella, a bachelorette party in Las Vegas and beyond.
If you only want freckles for a night, fret not: they peel right off with any makeup wipe or oil-based remover.
Swift paired her patches with a glossy red lip in lieu of her usual matte look, perhaps inspired by the shimmer and shine of her specks. Her blonde hair was pulled back into a voluminous ponytail while her signature winged eyeliner could be seen peeking beneath bangs that were blown out over her forehead.
The “So Highschool” singer hit a preppy note in a plaid Vivienne Westwood minidress grounded with Saint Laurent knee-high boots — all the better for cheering on Kelce, 35, from the stands.
Overall, Crista and I rated the Fazit Glitter Freckles a spot-on slay! (And we think Swift would agree.)
