Newlywed Ashley Tisdale is all about that something blue—lavender blue hair, that is!
To celebrate the renewal of Young & Hungry (Tisdale serves as a producer), the actress, 29, posted a sweet selfie featuring the ABC Family hit’s adorable poster and her latest bold beauty move: brand new light purple hair!
Tisdale, who tied the knot with Christopher French on Sept. 8, must have been considering the “something new” portion of the wedding tradition when she chose her latest hair hue. Though the High School Musical star has tried blonde, brunette, and even pink tresses, she’s never gone periwinkle before.
But there was a hint! Vanessa Hudgen’s bestie teased Instagram followers just three days earlier, on Sept. 26, when she posted an image zoomed in on magenta-colored ends. Now that the dye has set, we can see that while the color first appeared to be a sky blue (top photo), it would ultimately become a soft shade of amethyst (below).
Nevertheless, while we were stunned by the transformation, Tisdale seemed most excited about the Emily Osment vehicle’s success on Sept. 29. “Aaaaaahhhhh!!! @abcfamily picked up @youngandhungryabcf season 2!!! I am so excited I am literally kissing @wree 's ass 😉 so proud of The whole team and cast of this show, truly talented people,” she gushed on Instagram.
