ASAP Rocky is embracing his silver fox era.
Rocky, 36, opened up about growing out his gray hairs and nearing 40 years old while chatting with Elle in a cover story published on Tuesday, September 23.
“I’m about to be 40 in a few years,” the rapper said, quipping, “I’m ready to embrace that motherf***er.”
He then tilted his head down and showed Elle his silver strands starting to grow in. “I got these pretty gray hairs growing,” he said. “I’m ready.”
Elsewhere in the cover story, Rocky opened up about his court outfits that he wore during his trial for a 2021 shooting allegation, for which he was found not guilty in February.
“I didn’t want to look too formal or tacky,” he said of his tailored suits, which included pinstripe blazers, polka dot ties, green jackets, trench coats and more.
“If somebody asks you to come to court, regardless of what the affair is for, you better show up with some integrity, and that’s all I did. I got dressed,” he said.
In 2021, Rocky was accused of firing a handgun at his former friend A$AP Relli (real name Rakim Mayers). He went into the trial maintaining his innocence, adding, “I ain’t no f***ing gangster. I’m a pretty boy. I wear that like a badge of honor.”
Months after his trial concluded, Rocky and Rihanna announced they’re expecting their third child together at the Met Gala in May. Rocky teased that the couple may have secretly tied the knot when he told Elle, “How you know I’m not already a husband?”
“I’m still not gonna confirm it,” he cryptically noted.
Rihanna, 37, and Rocky are already the parents of sons RZA, 3, and Riot, 2. The couple became friends in 2013 and confirmed that their relationship turned romantic in 2021.
