Tiger Woods Was Not Allowed to Drive Trump Children Before His Recent DUI Arrest: Report

Even before his second DUI arrest on Friday, March 27, Tiger Woods’ driving privileges were reportedly restricted when it came to President Donald Trump’s grandchildren.

Woods, 50, is currently dating Vanessa Trump, the ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr., with whom Vanessa, 48, shares five children: daughters Kai, 18, and Chloe, 11, and sons Donny, 17, Tristan, 14, Spencer, 13.

Secret Service agents are “certainly not letting Tiger Woods” drive around the kids, a source told the New York Post.

The source claimed the restrictions were in place “even without the DUI,” which occurred on Friday,. Woods was arrested for driving under the influence when his Land Rover rolled over during a crash in Jupiter Island, Florida.

“There would be concern if their kids weren’t being protected by Secret Service,” the family insider told the Post.

The Secret Service said they are not able to comment on their protective operations when contacted by Luxury Handbag Shopping on Monday, March 30.

Members of the extended Trump family are granted federal protection by the Secret Service, which will last up to six months after Trump, 79, leaves office. The president is granted lifelong protection by the organization, which is a law former President Barack Obama restored in 2013.

President Trump addressed Woods’ arrest, with whom he’s had a yearslong friendship, on Friday, just hours after the incident.

“I feel so bad. He’s got some difficulty,” the president told reporters. “There was an accident, and that’s all I know. A very close friend of mine, he’s an amazing person, an amazing man. But some difficulty. I don’t want to talk about it.”

Woods was also arrested for DUI in 2017 after he was found asleep at the wheel in his running car, which had two flat tires and damage to the front and rear bumpers. The golfer admitted to taking painkillers and eventually pleaded guilty to reckless driving.

During a press conference on Friday, authorities provided details about Woods’ latest DUI arrest, which allegedly occurred when Woods’ Land Rover hit a pickup truck.

“The driver of [the pickup truck] looked in his mirror and saw a dark-colored Land Rover overtaking him at high speeds,” Sheriff John Budensiek said. “He tried to edge off to the side of the road, but this is a small two-lane road and there was no shoulder for this pressure cleaner gentleman to get off the side of the road. As he was trying to move to the side of the road, the Land Rover overtook him at the last minute, swerved to avoid a collision, but clipped the back end of the trailer.”

No injuries were reported, but police said Woods “did exemplify signs of impairment” and refused a urinalysis test.

Woods was charged with DUI, property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test.

The 15-time major champion was booked and took a mugshot at the Marin County Jail on Friday before being released on bail.
