Team USA speed skater Jordan Stolz was flooded with messages on social media after his quads went viral at the 2026 Winter Olympics.
“Oh, I’ve gotten a lot of DMs,” Stolz, 21, exclusively told Luxury Handbag Shopping via his partnership with Hershey’s. “A lot of interesting ones, too.”
He added with a laugh, “They’re some nice comments. You know, some very supportive comments. It’s been cool. I like all of it.”
Stolz took home three medals at the Milano Cortina Games — two gold, one silver — but it was an NBC Sports graphic that also caught the attention of viewers at home.
In the graphic, Stolz’s massive quads were compared to those of Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley, who is well-known for his giant legs and has even earned the nickname “SaQUADS.”
“I think it’s a good comparison,” Stolz said. “I don’t know whose are bigger. We’ll have to compare.”

Now, in the euphoric aftermath of the Games, Stolz admitted getting back to a sense of normalcy has been an adjustment.
“Winding down after the Olympics, it’s such a build-up of pressure over technically the last four years,” he said. “But the last year has just been a lot of training and mental preparation for that small period of time of two weeks where I’m trying to compete and do the best I can.”
Stolz, a native of West Bend, Wisconsin, won gold in the men’s 500 meters and 1,000 meters in Italy, while also taking home a hotly-contested silver in the men’s 1,500 meters.
“To have that finally be over and you’re over the hump, it’s kind of in the past. That’s a new feeling looking ahead, right?” he continued. “At least you have a few medals behind you, so you feel good about that.”
Still, there’s no rest for the weary. Stolz will compete in the ISU Speed Skating World Championships, which start in the Netherlands on Thursday, March 5.

In the midst of all of his success, Stolz has linked up with Hershey’s on their “Hershey’s. It’s Your Happy Place.” campaign.
“It’s super authentic,” Stolz gushed. “I love the partnership we’ve shared with them. I was able to win the golds on behalf of the U.S. and having Hershey’s alongside me is something that’s super cool to have my name tied to. It’s super cool that the partnership collided. And they weren’t lying when they said that happiness is the real gold.”
