The Suite Life of Zack and Cody
The Suite Life of Zack & Cody premiered on the Disney Channel in 2005 and followed Dylan and Cole Sprouse as the titular mischievous twin brothers. The series, which ran for three seasons through 2008, followed Zack and Cody as they moved into the luxurious Tipton Hotel with their lounge singer mother, Carey (Kim Rhodes).
With the hotel as the personal playground, the duo got into many hilarious hijinks with The Tipton’s staff and residents, including heiress London Tipton (Brenda Song), candy counter worker Maddie Fitzpatrick (Ashley Tisdale), handyman Arwin Hochauser (Brian Stepanek), bellboy Esteban Ramírez (Adrian R’Mante) and manager Mr. Moseby (Phil Lewis).
The show became one of the network’s most successful shows and launched many young actors into stardom. Tisdale, for her part, starred as Sharpay Evans in the High School Musical franchise throughout the show’s run, while Cole went on to star as Jughead Jones in The CW’s Riverdale and appear in films such as Five Feet Apart and Lisa Frankenstein.
Dylan, Cole, Song and Lewis returned as main cast members on the show’s spinoff, The Suite Life on Deck, which ran for three seasons from 2008 to 2011. The show followed Zack, Cody and London as they studied abroad on the S.S. Tipton cruise ship. The sitcom also earned its own Disney Channel original movie, The Suite Life Movie, which premiered in 2011.
