The Real Housewives of Potomac
About
The Real Housewives of Potomac debuted in 2016 as the eighth installation of The Real Housewives franchise. Set in and around Potomac, Maryland, the series initially starred Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, Robyn Dixon, Karen Huger, Charrisse Jackson-Jordan and Katie Rost.
Rost was fired after filming for the second season began but continued to make guest appearances throughout the series. She was replaced by Monique Samuels. Jackson-Jordan was later removed as a main cast member, with Candiace Dillard Bassett joining for season 3.
During season 5, Bassett and Samuels got into a physical altercation and both were charged with second-degree assault, though all charges were later dropped. Samuels announced she would not be returning for the sixth season of the series.
The reality series later added Dr. Wendy Osefo, Mia Thornton, Keiarna Stewart and Stacey Rusch to the main ensemble. RHOP season 9 debuted in October 2024.
