The series premiered in June 2024 and explores what it takes to join and excel in one of the most famous cheerleading squads in the world. Aspiring rookies and seasoned veterans vie for one of the 36 coveted spots on the team.

Across seven episodes, the show offers an inside look at their rigorous tryouts, demanding training regimens, high-pressure performances and personal lives of the cheerleaders throughout the NFL season, highlighting the dedication and skill required to wear the DCC uniform.

The DCC are led by longtime director Kelli Finglass, who has been pivotal in shaping the squad’s legacy. Alongside Finglass is Judy Trammell, who serves as the team’s head choreographer.

In November 2024, Netflix announced that the series will be returning for a second season.
