It was a busy September for many celebrities who were running from show to show at New York Fashion Week. Mindy Kaling enjoyed this year’s festivities, which included a stop at the Tory Burch show where she wore a fall-forward brown dress, matching coat and a suede bag that we could see ourselves carrying. Our favorite detail (that Kaling’s doesn’t have) is that fabric that’s woven through the top of the bag to create a slouchy yet structured style. That’s where you’ll find the gold-like hardware that looks like the more expensive version.
To get the Kaling look, opt for the brown, green or coffee shades, though we’re also tempted by the beige and burgundy hues. We love how the actress styled her bag with a monochromatic look, but as a neutral, this purse can be worn with all the cozy sweaters in your closet.
